Volunteer Opportunities

Put Your Experience and Expertise
to Work as a BAC Volunteer

BAC  offers retirees and experienced business owners with time to volunteer the personal satisfaction of enriching Northeast Ohio’s economy, while enjoying the camaraderie of others.

By serving on a counseling team or as a mentor, you will guide clients in how to start businesses, how to grow and hire employees or or how to solve problems they’re having with the businesses or nonprofits they lead. As a mentor or coach in other BAC activities, you’ll develop relationships with clients and help keep them on the road to success.

BAC provides social and educational components as well, when volunteers come together for Speaker Series programs. BAC allows you to be involved in its activities as much as you desire, according to your interests and personal calendar.

TO LEARN MORE about the benefits of BAC volunteerism, contact executive director, Nikki Evans, at 216.426.2053 or leave her a message through the Contact Us page. Ask her about sitting in on a counseling session or attending the next luncheon as her guest.

“I always learn something from talking with our clients, and it is a way to help keep current in today’s business world. Friendships developed with BAC members are also very rewarding.”

“I find counseling others helps refine what I know and improve what my own company is doing. Plus, I continue to learn from the other members in BAC.”

– Bruce Corson
(member since 2012)

“Business Advisers is truly valuable, and a vital asset to our community. As you help one, you help us all.
