Counseling, Mentoring and Consulting

We serve individuals who want to start for-profit and not-for-profit businesses and those who already lead an organization and need free, unbiased answers to their business-related questions.

Our volunteer counselors serve on small teams for sessions in our convenient Midtown office. First time clients may schedule as many follow-up sessions as they desire and, if they qualify, may be mentored for a longer term by a BAC volunteer assigned because of his or her related expertise.

In addition, if clients’ businesses are already successful but they need a consultant with a particular expertise for a longer engagement, we’ll find the right volunteer for the job.

Some of the areas we cover include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing a business plan
  • Preparing for obtaining funding
  • Knowing when to hire more employees
  • Marketing your product or service
  • Understanding the role of social media
  • Buying a business

What to Expect

Once you complete the Request for Counseling form, we’ll contact you by phone or email to schedule your appointment.  Sessions are typically scheduled 7 to 10 days in advance.

You’ll appreciate our convenient location and free parking. More than that, you’ll be glad you met with the team of experienced and knowledgeable counselors at Business Advisers of Cleveland.
