Interesting article! One problem I’ve noticed in dealing with Believe in Ohio, some of BAC’s clients, and even our grandkids, is that all their education emphasizes “do your own thing”, but not how to finance it. Basic budgeting, P&L concepts, etc. is hardly mentioned, so kids take on huge amounts of debt to prepare for a career waiting tables and hoping to become the next big star, and then are amazed when they can’t repay the debt they’ve racked up. Some of them should have gone the vocational route and they’d be making more money sooner!

    Just saying….

Amazingly the millennials have surpassed the baby boomers in population. That surprised me! At FranNet we are seeing more and more millennials. Millennials watched/lived through what corporate America did to their families, long hours and many layoffs, they want things to be different for their families. They are seeking out franchise businesses because it is easier to own and operate, there is usually an earnings claim on the FDD. Millennials really want to make a difference in the world around them.
